Fabulous Friday: *Sweet Charity* and "Soul Bossa Nova"

I wrote a CDA on Quincy Jones the other day and included a mash-up of a dance number from the Sweet Charity movie and Jones's composition "Soul Bossa Nova," which is best known to my generation as the opening credits music to Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery.

I thought it would be fun to share these two things in their original form. Here's the Sweet Charity dance sequence. All that smoking! And that lead girl shore does know how to swing her wig.

And here are the opening credits of Austin Powers. This movie does NOT actually hold up very well but the opening credits are priceless.
