Two wonderful early TV performances by La Streisand, both from 1963. First, singing "Cry Me a River" and "Happy Days Are Here Again" on *The Dinah Shore Show:* Dear Lord, she turns "Cry Me a River" into the most fabulously overwrought Hedda Gabler EVER. Fascinating, in both songs she serves up the drama in the biggest way but also serves up some purely gorgeous singing. Except for the last note, which is rather ill-considered...
And a great moment in television history, her singing "Happy Days Are Here Again" AGAIN, in the same year, in a duet with Judy Garland, who's singing "Get Happy." On *The Judy Garland Show.*
