A couple weeks ago on Fabulous Friday I sent out Sarah Vaughan singing (of all things) "Rainy Days and Mondays." Today I'm sharing another song from the same 1974 concert in Brussels.
You know how I love to compare and contrast. The song is "I Remember You" - - this is the first recording I heard of that song, with a jaunty tempo by the amazing Chet Baker:
And here's The Divine Sarah. Her rendition is GLACIALLY SLOW. So slow you almost don't feel the beat moving forward. Very indulgent (what I love about Sass) but hypnotic.
