Ah, the lovely Shirley Knight. She was one of the three actors in the show the first time I saw *The Vagina Monologues* (I saw it five times). The other two were Andrea Martin and (improbably) Alanis Morissette. Such a marvelous actor. The first thing I noticed her in was *As Good As It Gets.* This scene shows that sometimes the best acting is actually reacting.
