Stephanie alerted me to the death of Italian actress Gina Lollobrigida, who died the other day at the age of 95. Her first English language movie was John Huston's camp classic *Beat the Devil.* Humphrey Bogart, Jennifer Jones, Robert Morley, Peter Lorre, and Lollobrigida, with a script written (partially) by Truman Capote!
