My two brothers each requested a Celebrity Death Alert over the last few days, and their requests can serve as a wonderful illustration of the differences between the two of them.
Howard told me about the death of Sophie, a musician I hadn't heard of. This is from her NY Times obit:
"Sophie, an innovative producer and performer whose music distilled speed, noise, melody, clarity and catchiness into what would soon be called hyperpop, died on Saturday in Athens. She was 34. Her death, after an accident, was confirmed in a statement from her publicity company, Modern Matters, which said that Sophie, who was Scottish, had been living in Greece, and that 'true to her spirituality she had climbed up to watch the full moon and accidentally slipped and fell.'"

And Patrick asked that I do a CDA for Dustin Diamond, best known for playing Screech on *Saved By the Bell.* Poor guy, he seems to have had a pretty rough life, and dying of cancer at the age of 44, that is harsh. Here's a montage of his (allegedly) best moments on *Saved By the Bell*:
