I read in the NY Times about the death of artist, designer, author, choreographer, and dancer Christopher Ciccone, who died the other day at the age of 63. He's best known as Madonna's brother. He was an important collaborator and supporter of hers in the early days. Things weren't always sunny, of course, and he wrote a tell-all book in 2008, Life with My Sister Madonna. It peaked at #2 on the NY Times nonfiction best-seller list.
Here he is with his sister and Erica Bell in the video to "Holiday," my favorite Madonna song. It's touching how low tech the video is.
