Henry James (on the left) is an American author, best known for *The Wings of the Dove,* *The Turn of the Screw,* and my favorite novel of all time, *The Portrait of a Lady.* His older brother William (on the right) was a philosopher and pioneer in psychology, the first American educator to offer a course in psychology.
