Saturday Night Live in 1976 had a fake commercial for a product called Shimmer. Gilda Radner and Dan Akroyd play the bickering married couple: the wife says that Shimmer is a floor wax, the husband insists it's a floor wax. It's a floor wax! It's a dessert topping! Chevy Chase comes on the scene and assures them that new Shimmer is a floor wax AND a dessert topping.
